You'll notice that Andrew was wearing the same shirt in the last three posts that he was in. We had a busy and photogenic day before we left for our trip. And being that I haven't posted since we left, here are three new posts to get the ball rolling again.

Checkin out the oil change

Before we left for Cleveland, Andrew was soooo excited to come along for the oil change. It really was one of the highlights of his day. This is pretty much where he was the whole time.

Not quite potty time

Nolan's been watching his brother go on the potty, so it's natural that he's curious. He's testing the water by seeing how he thinks about the little potty. We'll keep you updated!

He's not a rabid anti-dentite

Andrew made his first trip to the dentist Tuesday, and as a surprise to all of us, it went remarkably well. He listened very well and actually had a good time. No drama to report, only some cute pictures.

Happiness is.....brothers

Swing it!

Nolan swings for the sky while watching his brother on the swing next to him. I think Nolan would live on here if if could, he never wants to get off of it!

Just a sight bit of fright on his face as dad pushes him a little too fast!

Ahhhhhhhhh!

We went for a walk downtown yesterday, and as we walked back to the car, we walked right past this giant Praying Mantis! Of course, Andrew had to walk right up to it and touch it. I'm kind of surprised he didn't ask to keep it.

The King(s) of (Dairy) Queen(s)

I know I haven't posted in a few days, so here is five to make up for it. Andrew and Nolan did an awesome job today and they were rewarded with a trip to Dairy Queen!

No, they're not doing Ice Cream Karaoke, Andrew was being a good big brother and sharing with Nolan.

Nolan was more than happy to be shared with!

Mmmmm, Dairy Queen!

This is how we clean our faces in our family!

Flashback Friday- Cold as Ice

With temperatures expected to reach 95 tomorrow in Evansville, I'd like to give a bit of refreshment with a photograph of Andrew eating a huge chunk of snow in March of 2008.

Flashback- December 2007- Nolan's first laugh

It took a visit from Grandma for Nolan to laugh out loud for the first time. I'm not sure what she did, but it worked!

Uncle Steve tried as well, but he just wound up looking like the villain from "Scream"!

Extras from Truck Camp

And you thought Truck Camp was just about trucks. there was soooo much more. Take a look.

Like going into the gym and releasing some energy.

Or taking the lead in Red Light, Green Light.

Or maybe catching a grasshopper...

...and scaring your instructors who were deathly afraid of grasshoppers!

Or just getting chased around by some new friends!

Truck camp! FireTruck Edition

We signed Andrew up for Truck Camp, a weeklong camp two hours a day where they bring in a different truck everyday, as well as play with and talk about trucks. Friday they brought in the fire truck which obviously was a huge hit with Andrew.

He actually got to shoot the water out of the fire hose with a firefighter. If that was the whole camp, he would have been thrilled!

He also got to wear the firefighters helmet...

...and climb on and explore the truck.

He was very attached to the firefighters and frequently gave them hugs throughout the day.

As a finale, they turned on the lights and the sirens. The sound didn't bother him nearly as much as it did for some of the other kids!

It looks like it runs in the family!

Uncle Steve gave Andrew a kid friendly digital camera a while back and he recently began picking it up. He definitely now has the bug- or shall we say shutterbug- and is taking pictures nearly everyday now.

Mom gives Andrew some professional advice on how to use his camera.

Observing his subject and thinking about which way to compose his image, I'm sure!

Look out world!
