Wrigley Field- Mets vs. Cubs

Elizabeth surprised me for Father's Day with tickets to see the Mets take on the Cubs at historic Wrigley Field in Chicago. Needless to say, I was thrilled and excited for all of us to go to a game at one of the best atmospheres in sports.

Right across from the stadium was a restaurant with Andrew's middle name, so we had to stop for a portrait.

Andrew checks out the action in Wrigleyville as we stopped for pizza before the game.

Nolan, Dad and Andrew in front of the famous entrance sign at the nations second oldest stadium. (Fenway Park in Boston is the oldest, if you were wondering)

The kids just happened to be a little restless (I guess that's what a nine days trip will do to you) but gobs of cotton candy and ice cream kept them in their seats for four innings.

When they couldn't sit still much longer, Andrew enjoyed the view around the stadium by watching the buses and cars outside...

...and Nolan couldn't handle it anymore, he knocked out!

This is where he stayed until we exited with the Mets up, 2-1. Unfortunatley, that wasn't the final score but why ruin a good story!

Summing up the Mets season, Andrew couldn't watch anymore either as we pushed them to the limits with the game and the trip. We're headed back home!
